I want the whole U.S. to be aware of what happened to me…but I need to know what to do next. A sale of a house ( all I have to pay bills with) started with a price of $35,000 and when the signed contract came to me it had the buyers name on the buyer line and them when the settlement papers came from the lawyers office it showed the house worth 70,000 but with a different man’s name on the buyers line that the original buyer had signed on the same date. The original buyers name had been obviously whited out and the appraisal had been hyped up even though no work had been done to the house… in fact the original buyer simply gutted the cabinets and left if. Because I suspected fraud I in my own honesty reported it to the finance lender and they withdrew their funds of 70,000. Now, I feel I have lost my sale… the house is in worse shape and I haven funds to get help. Tennessee real estate and the financial division want me to send in copies of everything but say they cannot help me. They simply want to punish the agent, the appraiser and the mortgage loan originator. I need some advise. That house was all I ever got of child support for my now adult son. Any suggestions as to how I should proceed? Thank you…Ann
