I have had some first hand experience with FOREMOST
insurance on a package unit I had stripped of the copper and
coils.I called foremost and they sent a claims agent out the
next day. After seeing the unit, the agent got on line, found
out how much the unit cost, deducted my deductable and wrote
me a check on the spot for it.They also included the haul
off ocst for the demolished unit, and a service person to
install the new one.
I JUST WANT TO SAY THIS is the first claim I have ever had
with foremost and I am VERY happy with their service.I
HIGHLY RECCOMEND THEM!!!It was no haggling or trying to
make me happy with a hundred dollars or so.They were VERY
professional and did their job to the best it could have
been done. The agent was VERY polite, professional and I am a
happy camper when someone takes care of you for using their
company…I dont beleive you can go wrong.

I always recommend Foremost to my buyers when I sell a home. They have a great understanding of MH’s and don’t ask a million questions that other carriers do. Nor do they do an inspection of the property. Other carriers have sent people out and refused to provide coverage for non-code related things like not having a second set of stairs.

Their rates also seem to be better than just about everyone. In my area, if you have State Farm or another broker, they end up writing a foremost policy anyway. They understand the MH market and in insurance, that means everything.

I am glad to hear that Foremost has good claims service. I have
some policies with them as they are the only ones who will write
policies in one of the areas I have rentals. That being said I have
always been of the mindset that I wouldn’t make a claim unless I
just had a pile of cinders remaining. I am afraid they would drop all
my policies and I would be left without belt or suspenders. Have
you had any experience with this and what did they say about your
rates? Will they go up? Thanks for the info.

It is insurance dont be afriad to make a valid claim. I use Foremost on one park and farm bur. on another. And have high regaurds for both companies and have had claims from both companies.
Had one home (vacant) burn to the ground. I am 99% certain power was not on and fire department said it was an electrical fire. It happend around the 4th of July and am all most certain it was kids playing with matches but also an accident. Foremost rep came soon after claim and I told him what I thought happend and he stated it made no difference the home was destroyed one way or another and wrote a check that was more than enough to cover the cost of removing old home and replacing it with a newer home.
Another claim with Foremost 2 years later a tenant got drunk and drove under the front of a home damage was around $500. I turned in claim and received a settlement for $1,500 minus $500 deductable.I was very happy. Then about two years later got a check from Foremost that stated they had settled with the man that had the accident and he had to pay my deductable in the settlement. I was even more happy!
