I would like to know whether a foreigner can set up a LLC for the purpose of buying real estate? If yes, how do I go about doing it?
How about setting up a S or C corporation to buy real estate? Is it possible? what are the requirements?

Set one up? Sure. But the taxation will depend on your status (permannent resident?) and country of origin. I also don’t know the INS consequences (i.e. - is that a “job”?).
