I was told already that in FL it takes 8 years so it is pretty clouse to number you have.

My friend is in foreclosure, he does not want to file bankruptcy because he applied for disability and case is pending second year now. He thinks that he might need to file bankruptcy if his disability case will be pending too long. He thinks, he cannot file bankruptcy twice for a short time. What exactly time frame is allowed between bankruptcies, if anybody knows the answer?

that you can find the answer to this yourself in under 3 minutes with Google.
I’d type in" Bankruptcy Filings time between" and some variations of same and good ol’ G would find it for me in mere minutes.

I believe its 7 years between filings, though that may have changed with the recent law change.
