So, what’s your problem here? Didn’t you inspect the model or layout of the home before you signed the contract? Are you trying to find a way out of the contract?

I bought what I thought was a 4 bedroom home in Florida. The builder advertise’s this home as a 4 bedroom 2 bath 2 car etc etc. I am at completion stage and I come to find out that only 3 of the 4 bedrooms have closets and I am being told by the Rental Management Co. that this can only be advertised as a 3 bedroom with a Den.
I talked to the Salesperson that sold me the house and he said this is the way they advertise it but if I looked closely at the color copy brochure of the floorplan it shows no closet in the 4th bedroom. The reason for this is Florida counts closets and this is how they determine the size of the septic system yada yada yada and this keeps building cost down.
Can you legaly advertise this as a 4 bedroom?
