I’m new to Lonnie deals, but would like to know about the licensing requirements for Florida. I’m in Ft. Walton Beach, in the NW panhandle.
Thanks,
Lynn

Hello Thom,
I am Joan’s husband. Yes, we navigated the FL licensing waters successfully. At first, our interpretations of the law lead us to believe that the MH brokers license is what we needed. However, we learned that we had more options (namely buying and selling) for us by applying for a FL MH Dealers license. In a nutshell - more options at the same license fee. We run our business out of a state inspected and approved home office. No expensive land to buy or rent. Our license limitation is that our buying and selling restricts the mobile home from being moved from a MH park. If we had a mobile home retail center we could get the moving option at that point.
Please don’t hesitate to call or write Joan or me.
Thanks,
Jack
