You haven’t gotten an answer so I figured I would tell you what I know. I am in Pasco and Hernando and haven’t found a company who writes policies for vacant homes. Did you pay cash or finance? I was in the same position a while back and just stated it would be a rental, but I was unable to sell and actually began renting the home about two months after. The best insurance guy I have found is-

How are those of you, investing in L/H properties in Florida, insuring the property during rehab and selling period while the property is VACANT???

I have been unable to find an insurer for VACANT property here in Florida.

Anyone have a solution to this problem?
