I know of a house for sale for 59K. A yr ago it was 80K. It needs alot (maybe) of work but I don’t know how to figure out how much($)work. The best way “to know”…is to form a network of repairmen/people who give FREE estimates of repairs. Have them go in and get your figures. After you have done this a couple of times you’ll be able to figure it in your head.
NOTE: always use people who give free estimates.
You can get a good list of people from local real estate agents, at least a starting list.
