I’m a rehabber and have found that:

  1. Pre-foreclosure postings are leads.
  2. Vacant properties have potential. Do some research and find the owners.
  3. Getting your name out as a guy who buys houses works.
  4. Rehab investors know what to look for, so tell them you want to find them deals and they’ll give suggestions.
    I haven’t done this one:
  5. Run ads.

I am new to real estate investing and would like to begin by acting as a finder of rehab properties for investors. There are many investors in my area that pay finders fees. I think this would be a great way for me to earn some money and educate myself in the process. What are some of the methods for finding rehab properties? Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Mike
