There are construction loans for this, but there must be comparibles. also, the lender will not front the money if the builder requires an up-front deposit.

I have a lot that I am planning on building a modular house. The land will be owned and I’m looking for suggestions to finance the the house. I realize this is not the most difficult transaction to do, but instead of using a hard money company which will cost $$$. I’m looking lower costs and just as inportant speed in processing. My FICO is around 690-700. The lot is worth 110K and the cost to complete the house is around 130K. All said and done it will sell for 350-380K. The lot is ready to build. Any suggestions would be great.
