Howard Spiva called me and let me know that there were issues with regard to Anderson Law Group on this site. I am a partner at ALG - If you have questions or concerns, please give me a call at 800-706-4741 and I would be happy to answer your questions.
I was aware of the initial inquiry sent out by someone asking questions about our business and have read the responses. Needless to say, the allegations do not make much sense. As a law group, no non-lawyers could have ownership, so the idea of Anderson being a subsidiary is absurd.
We are just a small firm up in Seattle that happens to be hired by various companies, CPA firms and investment groups to come in an give asset protection, tax planning and estate transfer education to their customers. Feel free to look at our newsletter at www.algnewsletter.com or visit our website at www.andersonadvisors.com to get a better idea of what we do.
As for the personal attacks on Clint Coons - it was his estate planning documents that saved two of our clients over $1,000,000 (yes - one million) in taxes. One of the plans was audited and no change was made (i.e. it works). The costs for the million in savings? A few thousand dollars.
Personal vendettas and malicious competitors have no place on a discussion board.
Thanks Howard for standing up for us.
If you are someone in search of tax or entity structuring educational or reference materials, look at the various tools we offer for investors and business owners on our site.
Can anyone share their experiences working with the Anderson Law Group/Business Services or Boss Business Services in relation to entity structuring? Have you found them to be accessible, responsive and are their fees commensurate and farily priced taking in condsideration the overall services provided.
We are still working with ALG and although they have had some problems being available and in returning documents so far they have delivered what we were promised. If their services had provided better responses to our questions and needs I would say that there services were worth the price paid. They say they have had some staffing problems and an office relocation but I think they could do a much better job of returning phone calls.
We have had excellant service from BOSS Services. Their people have been very helpful.
I am fairly sure there is no ownership connection between Whitney and Anderson Law Group.
Thank You Paul
Hello Clyde:
I read the postings on Anderson Law Group. My name is Howard Spiva and I am an attorney in Savannah Georgia. I am the past president of the Savannah Trial Lawyers Association, past Regional Chairman of the Georgia Civil Justice Foundation and a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. I have also won multiple million dollar jury verdicts on behalf of my clients (one in excess of $55 million dollars) (see www.spivalaw.com for more information). In short, I know what I am talking about.
I have worked closely (as a client) with the Anderson Law Group over the last 5 years and know their systems and practices well ? I am a client. They do what they say they are going to do, they do it at a reasonable price and their strategies work. I often instruct in the area of asset protection for real estate investors (I teach CRE approved classes) and use many of the strategies taught by Anderson Law Group in my classes. In fact, on Tuesday of this week, I was invited to speak to the Savannah Landlord and Property Owners Association (I am a serious investor) and I met three clients of Anderson Law Group (Anderson Law Group is in Seattle, yet they have clients all over the country) who all said they were happy. Why did Anderson Law Group come up? It came up because I refer my clients and students to them to get structured.
If you want the best plaintiff’s Firm hire SPIVA LAW GROUP :>) ? if you want a group that knows asset protection, go to Anderson Law Group. They are not Whitney, Cash Flow, or any other organization mentioned in the postings, they are a law firm in Seattle that speaks on the subject of asset protection and tax reduction. I know they are hired to teach classes by numerous companies, firms and organizations. They are independent and good at what they do. In my opinion they are the BEST!!!

Get as far away from those people, as quickly as you can. They are theives, liars, and scam artists. If you haven’t been seriously ripped off yet, it’s because you haven’t been around them long enough yet. Just wait.

yes i agree, however they are a spin off of Wade Cook, Wade Cook Seminars, they used to work directly in connection with Wade Cook and to my understanding and were “born” because of this. therefore, i see many of Wade Cook’s techniques being used by this firm; in particular mr. coon who was a speaker at a seminar i went to many years ago with wade cook who at that time i was told taught entity planning to the people at this firm.
I met the nice folks at Anderson Law Group at a convention where Wade Cook was speaker. That was years ago. As I said, Anderson Law Group speaks on the topics of asset protection for a number of different groups including seminar companies, real estate clubs, CPA firms, etc. The techniques are sound and have absolutely nothing to do with telling someone how to invest. They show people how to protect their investments if they are going to invest.
I know Mr. Coons personally and I know, for example, that they sued Wade?s company for breach of contract. They simply are not the same company.
The strategies they teach on asset protection, estate planning and tax planning. Just today I was reading and enjoying their newsletter - http://www.algnewsletter.com/ - they are focused on tax and asset protection. I hire them for my businesses. Wade Cook is one of the many companies they spoke for,but Wade sure didnt teach them the law. They arent Wade.

Dear “Joe” or whoever you really are.
First of all I take exception to your personal attack.
Why do you hide who you really are? I invite you to disclose your identity to the group so everyone can judge your credibility. Clearly you are a competitor or a disgruntle ex-employee
I contacted Toby Mathis and he informed me that they “sued” by filing an Objection in the Bankruptcy Court to the sale of certain assets that were the property of ALG as well as for enforcement of their agreement. Case No. No. 02-25434-TTG. They performed over $1,200,000 worth of services at no costs. They don’t sound like the evil empire to me.
Toby tells me that Wade was forced into Bankruptcy by Darlene Nelson and other speakers and that Anderson Law Group had a restraining order against Darlene until just days before the bankruptcy was filed. WCFC went bankrupt ? it was not taken over. It does no business and ALG is not a stock market company. First Whitney ? now Wade ? Who next? Toby told me anyone, including you, is welcome to contact him for any information on the facts. He doesn’t hide from anyone or hide the truth.
I am not “full of it” as you say. I doubt you would make such personal attacks if your identity were disclosed or in person.
I meet the Anderson Law Group as a seminar attendee and I was impressed with what they taught. That’s what they do is educate folks for a better life. I could spend an hour praising how they have improved my family’s life.
I have never received a referral from them ever. I have spoken as a guest at their seminars on a couple of occasions years ago and was paid for my time and reimbursed for my expenses. I have a successful trial practice representing children and catastrophic clients and I don’t rely on anyone for business. I have meet many many people (I meet 4 just last week at an Investors Organization meeting in Savannah Georgia) who sing the ALG praise and have improved their life and the lives of their family with the knowledge they learned at ALG seminars.
You sound like one of those people who have failed and want to blame others. I hope you get past your bitterness. However I will not remain silent while you anonymously criticize hard working honest folks while hiding behind your computer screen.
Come out into the sun light. I find that only the truth can tolerate the light of day.
Have a Great Day.
Howard Spiva
A Happy ALG Customer and Client
I know from first hand experience that you are full of it. Clint Coons… oops I mean Clint Anderson is a crook. Ask him why he changed his name to Anderson. Also, when did they sue Wade Cook? What is the complaint number? I heard they used extortion to take over the Wade Cook company and that was from someone directly involved in the treacherous takeover. I recommend staying away from this group altogether. Howard Spiva, how much business have they passed to you?
