Expired listings? - Posted by Christie (TX)

I’m wondering about expired real estate listings. Are (real estate agencies) companies allowed to sell the info on these? Or do you just have to wait around for them to show up via your own notes? I’d love to send postcards out to all the expireds…

Get with an agent who will work with you, and you can get them. My agent searches them for me for free, but I do all my business through him. He knows he’s going to get taken care of other deals I do.
Also thought I should let you know, there are a high number of “Withdrawn listings” as opposed to expired. My agent tells me that other agents sometimes pull them the day before they expire, just so the “expired” mark doesn’t show up on it. Didn’t really follow the logic on why they do it, but I don’t care. All I know is I need all the expireds, and the withdrawns as well.
Hope this help.
ps Don?t ask me how to find a good realtor. I maintain that they are the laziest group of individuals in the world, aside from appraisers. Or maybe loan officers. Hmmm…
