bob,I wouldn’t contact the lawyers at all, they only get in the way…I don’t send letters, I phone the executor or administrator of the estate and ask them what they intended to do with the real property in the estate…then go from there.

Does anyone send letters to lawyers in response to estate notices in the local newspapers concerning real estate owned by the estate? If so, do you have a letter that is working that you might share with the group?

You might want to look at Gary DiGrazia’s book “Diamond Farming.” It deals with buying probate properties. I recommend it. There is an unnamed guru-rater that recommends it.
