You can best answer your own question by telling us what “Equitable Interest” you have in a property simply by having a purchase contract.

Does this “Equitable Interest” survive the failure of the contract?

Your purchase contract may give you the right to flip the property, assigne the contract, place it in the MLS, etc…but an equitable interest?

I am looking for info on the legal aspects of real estate under contract from the buyers position as it relates to equitable interest.

Bill Bronchick talked about selling real estate to another party at the creonline convention, if/when we have a purchase contract. I didn’t hear the details due to hearing difficulties.

Also, I would be led to believe that an equitable position as buyer under contract and in escrow also would have the authority to place the property in mls before the escrow closing?
