Encouragement For Newbies! - Posted by Cliff

Famous Last Words of a corporate executive I overheard at our weekly management meeting just prior to me retiring this year:

“You know, I don’t think Cliff takes his carrer too seriously. He can’t be making much money at that real estate stuff. Have you seen what he drives? He spends way too much time reading the classifids and looking at property on his lunch hour.”

The jokes on them, I retired at age 45 this year. Own about 100 units in many forms: lease/options, mobile home parks, mobile land/home packages, notes, developments, raw land, and having a blast all the way to the bank.

For all you newbies: I was bankrupted (never filed) in 1991. Ten years is NOT a long time. Lonnie and Jimmy Napier’s ideas got me going in the parks and a gentleman from S.C. showed me the land/home way. Hasn’t been a smooth road, but some of the most beautiful flowers are surrounded by thorns.

Keep reaching for your dreams and never let anyone tell you that you can’t do it.

I want to publicly thank Lonnie, Jimmy, and LLoyd. Thanks ya’ll.
