Hi Tom,

Is your D/I ratio above 45%?

Do you have any lates? Do you have many open credit card accounts?

You say you have perfect credit since 1999 if you still are showing any blemishes from prior to 1999 that will keep your score down. A high D/I ratio will also affect your score negatively.

Take a look at all three credit reports and see what is being reported on you then you can make a plan to get it repaired.

You have only owned your home for six months so there is not much equity and with a high D/I the bank sees you as a risk, therfore you need to do some legwork and get started getting your score up above 620.

If you find some things on your credit reports that are reflecting on your score or if you are not sure, contact me and I will help explain credit reporting and what you can do.

Sincerely,

Bruce Lawson
