Actually, I’m hoping that you do decide to another workshop – because I would love to attend.
Although banks now represent a large portion of my business, there is always room for another’s perspective as well as their knowledge and experience. Translation: I can never learn enough.
I followed your thread about credit lines and I agree with you wholeheartedly that they are vastly underrated as a tool for the RE business.

To be honest with you, I don’t know much about either one of these
individuals. Carlton Sheets seem to be quite popular, and I have heard
that he gives you financial direction as well as how to structure your
deal. Russ Whitney, I know nothing about.
It’s hard for me to recommend a course when I know that most of these
so called Guru’s, really share very little information on financing.
Because each one of us have different circumstances, meaning, cash
availability, income streams, credit considerations, etc. It’s difficult for any
one course to be applicable to the individual.
You can only get out of a course what is applicable to you.
After saying that, I want to be fair to these teachers by adding that these
courses give you direction, as to what you need to do if you are not
properly equipped to do deals the way the author of the course directs you.
When I did my workshops. and I did two of them, and by the way this is
not a plug, because I may have done my last workshop, I haven’t decided
yet. The reason they were so successful was because of the mentoring.
With the mentoring, I could now discuss with the individual, information
that would work for them NOW, as well as give them a direction as to
where they want to be 1 or 2 years from now. We were no longer talking
hypothetically. But one on one which would make it applicable to the
individual.
To me that’s so important. Because when starting out in this business, if
you don’t have any results, you get discouraged.
There is a Group II on this site that discusses different courses available
to newbies. I would suggest you check there to hear how others feel
who have already participated in some of these courses.
