If I remember right, Ed had attached his name to a series of biz-ops. You could go into the vending machine business, the travel business, or the business of selling surplus merchandise all under the expert guidance of one ED BECKLEY. All of these deals were sold from a stage, as they say. The host/salesman would whip the audience into a frenzy and people couldn’t wait to rush to the back of the room to throw their money away. If nothing else, Mr. Beckley deserves our respect as a person who sure knows how to sell stuff.

Mr. Beckley bankrupted from refunds of his “No Down Payment” courses. Or, maybe he bankrupted to keep from refunding his “hard earned money”. Tsk, tsk. I was one of the proud owners of his course, $495.00 as I recall. He was one of the first that I recall hawking those kinds of courses. I bought mine about 14 years ago.
I have since seen another infomercial he was promoting, but, for the life of me I don’t remember what his subject matter was.
All in all, I learned a great deal from his information. But, like most other “too good to be true” deals, a little common sense goes a long way. I am the proud owner of 10 prperties bought the way he suggested. No, they are not free and clear, but they have proven to be a valuable tax shelter over the years.

Thanks Bob!
I just finished one of his books and I enjoyed it very much. I know it is a little outdated but I’m sure some of his techniques can still be applied today. His home study course was advertised in the back but I’m sure it’s no longer available either…Wouldn’t want to part with yours would ya???
