I purchased a home with intentions of moving in, I found another home I liked better and moved into the later.
I turned around and prepared the first home for either sale or rental. The home has been being rented for the past 5 years with the same nieghbors. Built in 1941 the home had 2 sets of elegant steps @ the front retreating from a long front porch. Recentley, the people next door complained about the steps facing theyre home, they are saying that the steps are on their property. They built an ugly chain link fence on what they determined to be the property line. Isnt there a 4 foot easment to property boundry, “ie” you cant build directly on the property line?

that would be a local zoning issue… - Posted by David Krulac
