Hi , I am wondering if quit claiming a property to your child violates the due on sale clause, or is this an exemption to the clause. Thank You, Nadine

I believe there was a post on here recently that transfers between spouses, or a parent to child, were exempt from the DOS clause. I do not have that post handy, nor do I have time to find it. You could try doing a Google search for the Garn-St. Germain act and read the law yourself, to see.
