Couldn’t agree with you more. It is great that you read the books before meeting with your CPA so you were comfortable with the concepts. Also, great that you didn’t think they were all there was to taxation. Taxation is incredibly complicated and and should not be attempted without proper supervision. I see too many people read a couple books or attend a seminar, think they understand everything and then make a mess of their investments, tax wise. Good luck!

Has anyone bought the diane kennedy tax courses regarding business entities? Are they worth the money?

I already have a few of Bronchick courses but wanted to try some other material.

Any help is appreciated!!

Diane Kennedy’s books are excellent, but, taxes are very complicated. You shouldn’t think that because you read a book or take a course you will understand taxes. Read the books/take the course to get a basic understanding of taxes, but consult a competent tax advisor. The cost of the advisor is much less than a mistake.

Yes her books are excellent. I am reading Tax loopholes now. The books have helped me get enough understanding so that when I hired my CPA I was able to speak intelligently and understand what was being said. Her stuff is worth the time and money.
