After spending weeks upon weeks scouring the internet for commercial real estate in Detroit, I wanted to know if there were any other investors who are running to instead of from Detroit. Anyone with a contrarian viewpoint on distressed markets such as Detroit?

Are you simply researching Detroit or are you looking to buy in Detroit? If you are looking to buy, what property type are you looking for?

Luke,

Thanks for the response.

Of course I’m looking to buy, buddy. Why else would I be evaluating properties and their markets. Are you an agent?

I’m looking for class b & c multi units (45-250 units) with a bell curve unit mix. Turnaround not turnkey.

What’s your take on Detroit?

The investment decisions that I am making today are based on the city’s solid plans for the future.
