Nope. Residential real estate is not eligible for section 179 or bonus depreciation.

The tax depreciation rate for residential rental property is 27.5 years. With the new tax law and depreciation rules, can I take bonus depreciation and/or 179 depreciation on properties acquired after 9/11?
