Not sure about Texas, but in CA, it depends if it was a judicial or non-judicial foreclosure. If non-judicial in CA, then they cannot seek a deficiency judgement.

i had personally signed on a bank loan for a line of credit with a property as collateral.
couldn’t pay the note…so the bank took the property…
now they are suing me for the difference…
i’m in texas…can they require me to sell any of my other investment properties to pay?..or do they just put a lien on them?
