Putting the property into a trust will only* ‘hide’ the owner.
Of course with lawsuits what they are, being hidden is a great thing for asset protection.
If the trust is ever sued, it doesn’t provide ANY liability protection w/out a corporation/LLC as the beneficiary(owner).
It’s my personal belief that every property should have a land trust on title…maybe 2 of them too (another LT as beneficiary, then LLC).
