Deals gone bad - Posted by Josh

I have been reading many of the post on this board for the past several days and have already ordered DOW but still waiting for it to arrive. I am in the military stationed in Japan for 1 more year and am anxious to get started but obviously I can’t which gives me plenty of time to learn. While I am waiting I would like to find out about how many deals percentage wise (est.) go sour (i.e. bankruptcy and the like)?
Thanks,
Josh

Have you looked for trailer parks in Japan?
Just kidding when I left Yokosuka in 89 I do not remember seeing any trailers.

I my case the % is less than 5%. I do require a min $1000 deposit up front. Don’t let dead beats talk their way into your MH. If they do go bad it gives you a chance to sell the home for a second time. You will also find a small % of buyers that will give them back to you after a year or two.
