No lic required for you or me to buy and place a MH on our own lot.
But there are some issues here regarding when, how you pay for
such a MH and you’re setting yourself up to be taken advantage of
(pardon dangling participle) unless you’re very careful.
e.g. if you were to write a check prior to the MH’s being delivered
and set up, you could then find yourself in limbo-land and it could
take months before it got finished and ready to rent.
So I’d recommend your having a lawyer handle the paper-work so
you don’t get stung with half a job and an unfinished MH.
