Nell I’m new to Dallas but not that old to r.e.investing. I went to the court house to find out how things worked here. They have a list mailed to them monthly for $25 e-mail me an I’ll find the info for you. May be you could teach my about the Dallas market?
hi, i am a newbie and went to the foreclosure auction in dallas, tx today for the first time, just to observe…it was nothing like i thought…there were sometimes 2 trustees auctioning at the same time and i got as close as i could to the huddle and could barely hear. i was impressed that no one seemed to try and outbid anyone, i dont know if they discussed beforehand which properties they wanted and had some kind of understanding, or what, but sometimes after 6 or 7 rounds, someone would say you take this one…also, everyone was looking at some kind of list…it seemed to have all the info they needed on it…i tried to copy down some of the info on the bulletin board and then went to research at the clerks office just so i could have an idea of what was borrowed and what ended up being the high bid sales price. does anyone in dallas have any info for me that would help me understand the process a little better? i will continue to go to the auctions and try to learn this business, but any help would be appreciated…thank you…nell/dallas
