I think you mean cris-cros. These are data cd’s put out by haines pulishing. They are very powerfull. I use this software for marketing.
Be prepared to pay over a grand every 6 months depending on how much teritory you are looking to cover. If you are prepared to execute a large marketing campaign this product will pay for itself many times over.

The idea is you can look someone up by a piece of information other than their name.
If you have an address you can find out the name. If you have a phone number you can find out an address and a name.
The information that was in a phone book would be resorted by a new primary key and published as a criss-cross or reverse look up directory back when all such things were paper.
Got to www.whitepages.com and you will find more or less what you want. www.reversecirectory.com used to work but seems to be down these days.

Glad to see it is back. I have used it for years. It was done for a while (multiple tests over a few weeks) so I assume it had died.
