Google the Motley Fool. #1, no BS source of info for the individual investor. Definitely an advocate for the small guy.

This is a forum of folks who invest in index funds. Strong bias in favor of, and lots of info about, Vanguard funds. They focus on asset allocation, owning the entire “market basket”, and not trying to beat the stock and bond markets.
