Rich is correct. The owner can set up requirements that have to do with credit. The credit score reflects the renter’s bill paying habits. If it were me, I would set the required credit score around 675-700. A score of 600 could mean problems for the owner.
I am in the process of flipping a single wide home in a trailer park. The owner says to live in the park you must have a credit score of 600 or better to live there. Is this legal?
