It’s extremely simple to form a new LLC in any state so I’d rec you DIY.
Generally such LLC must have a RAS (reg agent for service) with an in-state address so no matter what state you choose to form your LLC you’ll need to have an in-stater named for RAS or pay a national co to do this for you.
What is needed that I don’t rec as a DIY is a professionally done Operating Agreement and you should look online to find and buy one that works. In such an Op Agrt what’s really needed is the well-thought-out various provisions pertaining to the mgmt of the LLC and w/o a pro-done Op Agrt you’d be unlikely to know of the various clauses and provisions that a lawyer-done one needs to contain.
There are a number of online Legal Form Cos that sell LLC Op Agrts so that’s what I’d use.
Creating another LLC and Registered Agent ?? - Posted by SteveC TX

I have an LLC for hold properties so not sure I want to hand
over $1k to an attorney to create another one but I do need
another one. SO can anyone recommend a good place online
for a “Do-it-yourself” LLC?
There needs to be a registered agent too, right? Can I be
that is it better if a 3rd party be the registered agent?
I don’t want to be too cheap in dealing with legal matters
if it can be done relatively inexpensively then why not save
a buck.
