I am listening to Sheets’ “No Money Down” and have a question. He says that all assumable loans do not contain a Due-On-Sale clause. If this is true, is there any reason to keep ownership transfer secret on these loans? There must be some qualifying information he left out.

I think that when he says “assumable” and starts talking about “due-on-sale” clauses, what he really means is Non-Qualifying Assumable.
