By tax benefits, are you referring to writing off depreciation, real estate taxes and mortgage interest? If so, they are your deduction up until the date of sale.

Contract for deed tax benefits - Posted by Leah

I am selling my first investment house on a contract for deed. My question is, will I as the seller still have the tax benefits of owning the home (until the buyer satisfies the contract) or do the tax write-off benefits go to my buyer?
Thanks for any replies
