I am looking for any information on consulting in real estate. I have been doing it successfully with a few buyers, sellers, investors but I would like to learn more and take it mainstream.

Does anyone have any recommendations. I didn’t see anything in the bookstore on this great web page. Is there any written ?Ä

You don’t need a real estate license to consult on deals.

Walt,
Go to Amazon.com There is plenty of info there on consulting.

BTW: We heard this chat before and the general and legal consensis was that you can consult in anything including real estate so long as you don’t cross the line and become a realtor who represents others in transactions.

good luck-Jim

Good Morning Soapymac,

Yes , I have a real estate & Broker license, law degree and other assorted junk (my dog has a animal control license too) but thankfully in my state it is not required inorder to consult in marketing in property or anything else.

In fact I check with the Dept of Real Estate, AG’s office and (Bored) of Realtors office. No problem with consulting so long as there is no agency relationship.

So back to my original question;do you have any knowledge of courses or books, seminars on consulting in real estate.

Thank you-Walt

I agree with you that so long as you
A. Don’t represent another Just advise in Mktg
B. Still check the laws of your state inorder to be on the safe side
