Is it considered a conflict of interest if I, a real estate firm owner, use my firm to sell property that I have purchased as a real estate investor? Are there laws against it.

My real estate firm is the owner of record of my investment properties. When I sell them, I disclose that I have an ownership interest in the property.

What kind of Real Estate frim do you have? Are you a Broker? If so doesn’t a Listing Broker represent the seller? If this is so where is the conflict of interest?

In CA you’ld be required to make specific additional disclosure.
