Mr. Bronchick,
I hope this question isn’t too involved for the forum. I have put together a very large deal and it may be close to the signing of a contractual agreement. Here’s the question: Is there any possible way a non-agent can get a consulting fee(i.e. into a self directed trust) in deals where the agent is willing to divide proceeds. My question stems from reviewing state law(New York) but not being totally clear about any exceptions or “loop holes.” Thanks for any reply you can give.
