If you’re in a 13, the property is now an asset of the 13 “estate” and any funds received on it, for it, would belong to estate and should go to the Trustee for his/her decision & disposition on the question.
In fact I’d send T’ee a letter telling him/her of the situation and asking what you should do…this gets you on firm footing so you know what’s expected of you, who should contact the ins. co., etc.
