I do not think that will be a problem but ask the zoning officer.In order to do it you may need to remove a kitchen and you may need permits and licensed people to do the work

If I buy a property as a duplex, do I have to change zoning or anything of the sort, to sell it as a single family home? I’m trying to generate cash not cashflow and this particular property has a lot of equity as a SFH, comps are higher.
