Newark NJ is not a small city by any means. There are billboards touting cut rate carpeting, etc. Ask a neighbor, call the bbb, look in the yellow pages, call other landlords (you can find them in the newspaper under “rentals”) Look in the newspaper, most are on line, etc.The biggest in Newark is the Star Ledger. Be creative…
