All but the newest RE agents will not bother to present a letter-of-intent. They know they are meaningless in a market where there are real buyers about. If buyers dry up, the agents may show a little more interest.

Hello All,

Has anyone ever used Carlton’s “Letter of Intent” suggestion to a real estate agent to forward to a seller? If so, have you had any luck?

I’ve tried this suggestion but I also sent the owners a “blind” copy of the letter as well.
