I bought this course back in 1993 and only read 4 pages and then I left the whole course with a cousin of mine in Oklahoma. I then moved on and now live in Texas. I now see the informercial on TV and wonder if this course really really works. I had some recent contact with my cousin and he had a nice new truck and nice clothes on and 2 jet ski’s that he rents out to his other buddies in the military. I am still wondering if this course still really works and I am thinking of Buying the whole course again. I have been on many many homebase business deals and lost a major great deal on them. CAUTION…watchout for 2xtreme MLM John Polk a Scam Artist…Now I am ready for the CS course again.

Anyone from Texas area? Lets all keep in touch for any help.

Do yourself a big favor and read the post from a guy named Frank (should be around Dec. 22nd). This sadly delusioned gentleman wrote a long post slamming Sheets and his students (we’re all desperate fools that are being preyed upon by a greedy scam artist). The funny part of it is, this guy based his entire opinion of Sheets on what he had seen on the infomercial. If he had at least taken the course we might have given him a lick of credibility, but he hadn’t (betcha he will, though). There are over 30 posts in response to Frank’s letter. You want to know how effective the Sheets course is? Read those posts. One common thread is that you gotta work your caboose off for the program to work. Quitters need not apply.

I wish you the best of luck,
Russ Sims

I bought the Carleton Sheets course and listened to it so many times I can speak in perfect sync with him as I listen to the tapes.

So as for the question, does it work? Yes. I work only temp jobs, and had nothing but bad credit (old paid collections from student loans). I went out, found a Realtor, had him take me to look at some properties and found one where the owner offered to lease-option it. I asked him to carry 100% and he agreed, but at 10% interest. I’ve been living there a year. I just got re-assessed at $46,000 value and I bought it for $31,880. That’s over $14,000 gained in a year, that’s how much I make working at a job in a year.

I’m not ready to sell yet, cuz I want to have lived there two years before I sell (taxes). But I can tell you this, it works. Next time, though, I’m going to buy a larger unit, prolly 2-bedroom and rent one out to a roommate.

But I have to caution you, if you think this course is going to make you instantly rich, overnight, with no work – forget it. There was a lot of investment in time and “buyer’s remorse” while I was waiting for it to close. But I’m glad I own a house now.
