even with all you have on your plate take 15 min or 30 min a day to do some reading or listen to a tape. Excelent ideas in the course that will more then pay for itself in the ideas you already have that this builds on. When you were in school you did the studying to get the grade, the grade here is being able to clear your plate and not have to worry.

Does anyone here have Carlton’s No Money Down Program? If so, after having purchased and reviewed it, would you recommend it or not recommend it? What are your feelings and comments regarding Carlton’s courses?

Carleton is great. A good head start. But keep up on your education. Buy more books and join investment clubs. Also learn your local landlord tenant act…it can be a vital source of information. Its a great business to be in but you have to educate yourself before taking that first step.

Good luck.

Love Carlton. His chapter on building credit is worth the price. A great overview. I plan to get more specialized courses from him in addition to studying others.

I have found Carleton’s Course a great introduction, and well worth the money. If you follow the concepts and work hard you will be able to buy property, and he offers some good basic knowledge and experience.

I had been snookered before for thousands of dollars for a seminar and tapes etc by a shyster in FLA who does informercials, and I can tell you Carleton’s No Money Down system was far superior to what I paid 10+ times for from someone else.

If you are just starting out, I would recommend it. I have gone through it probably 5 times now fully,as well as other things, and every time I pick up something new. Not so much new “conceptually” but because I have done more things since last time, the concept now clicks more into how I can use it practically.

Best of luck.

Carletons course is a basic overview of RE Investing.
Its a good start, but it is by no means the end.
Its like taking a course in college. Even if you review CS course over and over, when you do your first deal you are going to learn things that the course never touched apond. Other courses combinded with CS and actually doing deals will help you be a successful investor. Also joining your local RE investment club and networking with other investors is major part as well.

Thank you for your response. I have his course but just haven’t had a chance to go through it in detail. Right now I have so much on my plate. I am looking forward to finishing his course. Thanks again.

Matt,

Sorry I didnt respond for a few days my wife and I were out of town.

The way we did it was an internet search on Real Estate investment clubs in Southwest Florida (which is where I live). If that doesnt work for you try the Real Estate section of the newspaper. Or some Real Estate clubs may be listed in the phone book.

Good luck
