Carlton Sheet’s course a scam? - Posted by Nancy
Posted by Nancy on April 17, 2001 at 12:24:09:
HI! I know nothing about real estate investing, but have always wanted to get into it, but thought I couldn’t because I didn’t have a huge chunk of cash to get started. You can imagine how excited I was when I saw Carlton Sheet’s informitial on tv, but now I’m wondering if this is a scam, or more, if the common person, straight off the street that has no money, so-so credit, and NO knowledge of real estate investment whatsoever can actually do this program! Any advice? I’m desperate over here!
Thanks to anybody that responds!

Nancy.
I don’t know for sure the precise amount of years that Carleton H. Sheets has been selling this course, but I do know one thing that is for sure.
If his program was a “SCAM” you would have to think that by now some authority would have “BUSTED” him by now!
Good heavens, he’s got to be on TV now every single night for what has to be at least 15 Years!..
You’ll find countless testimonials right here on this web site on the main newsgroup from people who have made lots of “No Money Down” purchases of houses and they had begun using Carleton H. Sheets No Money Down course!
Like the others have said the course teaches you the basics, but what I believe to be enough to get you off your duff and out making offers!. One thing is for sure… You’ll never buy any property without making offers!
The course does not work on its own. It needs a determined individual to apply the techniques it teaches.
If you are that kind of person then just do it, and if not, then take a seat on the fence and watch our results.
To your success, “NOW DO SOMETHING”!

Nancy,
While the Carleton Sheets course does work and is not a scam the infomercial you saw makes it sound easier than it actually is. To make it work you will REALLY have to put a lot of effort into it and I mean a LOT.
The old saying “It’s simple but ain’t easy” applies here. Carleton Sheets course is a good place to start on your way to RE investing but the information is rather basic.

It is not a scam. While I have not personally bought it, I have his course that a friend loaned me. It is good to get you started but not an end to your real estate education. Get Sheets’ program or somebody’s program, but while you are waiting for it, read the how to articles here AND the success stories. As Johnboy will tell you, read them THREE TIMES!!!
Now get going and take some action!

FDA cannot bust simple plant bacteria infested meet and you are saying about Sheets is true? The course is free from your local real estate agent and books much cheapier than this course. There are many scams in this country and are they busted? No!So do not say something you have no idea about.I received advert about canadian lottery I chacked and guess what it was and is scam running illegally from canada and are they doing anything-no bacause it is actually running from some island independent of USA.They are much smarter than you and it really shows bad sbout your intelligence. But hey i have a deal for you-free Mars housing!
