Carleton sheets course - Posted by Lance

Adum,

I got started in RE about 3 months ago. Believe me when I say that I knew NOTHING about it before then.I ordered the CS course after watching it on the late night TV scene for what seemed like forever. I then lucked up on this site. One of the first things that I gathered from the discussion was the need to continuously read and learn everything possible. So I committed to buying 1 book or course every 2 weeks and have done so.

To answer your question, I have the CS basic course, the CS foreclosure course, his property management course, his creating wealth with partners course and Bronchick’s Lease Option course. I also have Myers “Buy it, Fix it, Sell it” and LeGrand’s Fast Cash. I would reccommend all of these books and courses as I have learned something from all of them.

As far as the market here in Macon, there seems to be alot of investors, but I don’t think many of them are doing many “creative” deals. For example, I send postcards to all foreclosure listings in the paper each month (there are only like 50 or so here) and I get 2 or 3 calls on each month. When I ask, they all say that I am the only one contacting them. Sounds like an untapped market. Heck, if I REALLY went after it, who knows what would happen!

Good Luck!

I just recieved Carleton’s course and was wondering if anyone has ever purchased any of his other courses “Cashing in on foreclosures and distressed properties”, Creating wealth with partners" and The painless guide to profitable property management" he offers all three for $100 if I purchase them in the next 30 days are they worth the time and money? any info would be appreciated

Lance,

I got the same deal a few weeks after I recieved my CS course. I ordered the 3 course set and found it to be alot of the same material as in the original course, just a little more detailed.

If I had it to do again, I would still order it. It is not a bad deal at that price.

Good Luck!

Hi William,

I’ve spoken briefly with you in the chat room. What other courses have helped you(saw your post on NG 1, #3)? How tough is your area? I do mobile homes in Valdosta, but I’m reading CS’s course now. Thanks.
