CS’ forms are not the greatest, for many different reasons. If you really want to use the best forms, buy Bill Bronchick’s L/O course. It’s excellent. The forms protect you and are tight as a drum. CS’ are too broad. You need a specialist. Bronchick is an attorney and a rei – a very powerful combo. His stuff is excellent. This is a business. Use the best tools.
I am interested in putting together some sandwich lease/option deals and was wondering if Carleton Sheets covered this topic in his course. If so, I would be interested in hearing some of your comments regarding the quality of the information and education he gives in this area of investing. Does his legal forms portfolio contain the contracts needed to put together the deals and do they provide the necessary protection? I would also like to hear any first hand accounts from any of you that have put together l/o deals using Carleton’s advice.

I might ad that you can see the Bronchick forms on his website at www.legalwiz.com. These forms are excellent.Much more thorough than the Sheet’s form. There is a form slanted towards the lessor, and a form slanted to the lessee, depending on your situation. There are many things on them that even my $100 hr. attorney didn’t think to incude. An excellent resource.
Sheets basic course has very little on L/Os so I certainly wouldn’t buy it for that info. It is a great general resource, however…
Although CS course is excellent, it only broadly touches on L/O. You would be better off going for Joe Kaiser’s or Bill Bronchick’s course. I have Kaiser’s and it is super.
