That is between you and your realtor. Some are willing to cancel contracts while others are not.

We’ve put our land up for sale a few mo. ago. We’ve recently been thinking of taking it off the market and building on it in the near future. Its a simple contract. Do we have the right to cancel the contract with the real estate agent before the time is up on said contract? We’re in Florida, Collier County. Thank you.

You are asking this wrong. You don’t have a land contract, You have a listing agreement/contract.
Talk to agent and explain that you no longer wish to sell and that you wish to cancel the agreement. Some are very flexable and some are not.
