Check to see if there is a number that you can sell before you have to have a license. Illinois is crazy too, but I can sell several (6 a year, I think) before I have to buy the license.

I just finished two of Lonnie’s books and am ready to get started in West Virginia. I checked with the state and the information I am getting MUST BE WRONG, I hope. Here is one reply I received:

DEALER SERVICES
This is life pushing me around again. I am going to do this regardless of all the red tape. I was also told in another e-mail I would have to get a Contractor’s License to certify every mobile home I sold as being in compliance with the WV code. I can hire a contractor to certify these mobile homes on a case by case basis. If a mobile home doesn’t meet the code I have to fix the problem before I can sell it as a dealer. I was also told I cannot buy and sell any mobile homes in WV, unless it was my residence, without a dealer’s license. I have read many posts on ANN and CRE, but never seen anything like this.
PMA, I am going to do this and I will not fail. I want my money back guarentee, but I want it from Lonnie deals; not from Lonnie…
I welcome any comments, suggestions, or advice.
