I have a tenant (CALIFORNIA) with a one year lease agreement. They have not broke the lease in any way, but I would like to sell the condo. Is it legal (per contract) to sell when occupied with valid lease for 1 year? I used a standard CA Apartment Lease Agreement. Point is, I want to take advantage of the marketpalce before it falls out! Please advise. -Amy

Sure, as long as your buyer doesn’t mind being a landlord for a while.
