Id like to take a stab.
Do your research before investing in anything, especially if you have a family relying on at least keeping the money you already have.
Please take a look at the following page.
Iām seriously thinking about buying the Sheets program. Real estate seems like the way to go. Iām looking to secure a stable financial future and this seems like a great way, however, I donāt have any real estate background. I am very eager to learn and do my āhomeworkā by reading other materials, etc. But my question is, are there any moms out there that have sucessfully done this?
On a different note, if I do decide to go forward with this I am currently living in a lease to buy property, which the owner would give us a āgreat dealā on (since she likes us) and itās very possible THIS house could be our first deal. So if nothing else, the course could help us learn how to go about buying this property and reselling it for a profit right?

Donāt you guys/gals who post on this board have some kind of mentoring program? Sorry maybe a dumb newby question since I just found this site today.
It would seem an easy money deal for you experienced guys/gals to do a little or a lot of hand holding for some easy money. I know If I did a deal where I could make 10 or 20k I would be happy to find a mentor and get some help on the first few deals in exchange for 25% ± after all without this little extra bit of confidence from the mentor the deal probably would never get made and Iād have nothing.
Seems good for both parties. Any mentors want to help with my first few deals email me. Iām in the NCW area of wa state. I am self employed as an ISP owner as of now but itās not turning out to be a very profitable business and I would like to eventually make some real money. I have the time now to spend on this because my schedule is my own.
I know of one local realtor who did a radio show offering her help with this kind of stuff, really, I heard the show! Maybe I should call her. Not all realtors are lazy bums and/or against this sort of thing. I have met good and bad.
I think a Mom could do it, just like anybodyā¦you just have to DO it. Iām a Mom, and I ordered the CS course, and havenāt done anything with it yet, but I have experience in Real Estate and the things in his program do work, you just have to have the guts to get out and actually do it. Thatās what I think about the majority of these infomercial business opportunities, though. Any of them will probably work, if you just do the workā¦
I would 1st, study this website for a few weeks to determine what REI strategies would work for your situations, character, backbone. Then get an education to fit that direction. Realize this, nothing comes as easy as a TV guru wants you to believe. If it was easy, there would be no money in it because everyone would be doing it. It takes hard work, an aptitude for Real Estate, and a great amount of stamina to profit. Because it is not like picking apples from a tree, there is good money to be made.

I say disregard the naysayers⦠Iāll show you a guy who swears by Ford, arguing with a guy that swears by Chevy. You decided what you want to do, then simply do it. How long has the CS program been in business? If it really was a scam or bunk info, donāt you think the whistle wouldāve been blown long before John T. Reed?
Length of time in business does not mean it is not a scam. I would imagine that the program can work, but it takes work. Most people want a yellow brick road to a pot of gold. The only one that got that pot of gold was Carlton Sheets.
Yes, I agree. You are going to find negative stuff about EVERYTHING out there. Iām prepared for that. Basically just wondering if itās possible for an āaverage Janeā to do the program.

And your pot of gold was made how? Have you mastered real estate investing? I donāt mean to be facetious or rude but just because somebody is asking for help, i.e. this āsingle momā doesnāt give anyone the right to balloon her hopes nor shoot them down. If sheās chosen REI w/CS let her do it and if she chooses coaching or mentoring so be it. There are several thousand successful people in REI that will each have a different opinion of how to get there - fact is āsingle momā youāre getting feedback from all sides here. And itās my opinion is that coaching works, it worked for me and many others I met through the CS network nieghborhood. That is all.
If I seemed rude, I apologize. My intent was to make sure that she look at all types of REI before jumping in.
You have to admit that CS, like all TV Get rich Gurus, has made more $ selling their ideas to people who never use them than anyone has ever made implementing their ideas. Quote from P.T. Barnum(Circus fame) āThere is a sucker born every minuteā.
How about lets go buy a $175,000 piece of property for the back taxes of $128.68. Deals like this are everywhere, And you only need our book and tapes to find them, for only 4 easy payments of $39.95.

Okay, thatās fine. I felt like you were taking a stab at CS matrls and not that Iām his defender nor is that needed, I just think that, well, it works and for those that it didnāt work for then - it didnāt! You know what I mean? Iām in agreement with you that CS has made a ton of $$$ on his marketing and sales, canāt fault him for that however, the information provided has proven a great benefit for many people.
